Who's missing?

I've been thinking about the old BT today, wondering if any of the BTers will find us who tend to go off the boil over Summer.

So who's missing?

Did Barge ever come over? I still haven't forgiven him for telling everyone he was too busy to mod BT but surprisingly not too busy to post on BB

Now I think I've seen him posting around these parts... last I heard he was being a continental bdodge and had f***** off overseas.

Bdodgey has just come back from holiday I pmed him the other day and he said he had a good time, I'm sure he'll be around more soon enough. Bargey never returned megs, it would be nice for him to come back especially now he doesnt have to mod.

Not totally fair.

The trouble came from the AFL top management that wanted total control on all 16 clubs website (both financial and editorial content) and avoid the legal burden of a discussion board (moderated or not) on an official website. Our club reacted unsuccesfully by overmoderating BT.

At the end the club had to let go of BT, which turned out to be a great decision because this new BT has been just great. The club focused on fighting the AFL to maintain an independant website essendonfc.com.au and I am really glad it was succesful because we have the best website in the competition.

I cannot believe that the other 15 clubs are happy with the totally mediocre websites that the AFL imposes on them, but again the other 15 clubs are usually satisfied with mediocrity.

Barge had very different moderating to Kylie and I, but by the time Barge came in Kylie was dropping off a bit. Barge and I didn't always agree but there it is.

Yes we did have to mod more heavily that we wanted, for sure. Both Barge and I had our good points and our bad. Had he been around Bluey would've been shitcanned from the very start

I would certainly never say Bargey was the reason BT went to shit. He picked up the slack from where Kylie let off, I'm thankful for that.

Not under that name. I haven't checked IPs to see if he came over as any other. Don't care either, if he leaves his attitude at the old BT he's welcome here.

I thought Bargey was really good. The rules were completely fair and if you broke them you went.

Although I do prefer the new BT with no rules.
