SALE OF THE CENTURY

Post by BenDoolan »

Can't remember if I posted this before, but here goes...

The good ol' game show 'Sale of the Century' once had 3 contestants - an American, an Englishman, and an Irishman. They were all so bad they came a 3 way tie at the end of the game on zero points.

The host, Glenn Ridge, announced... "the contestant who answers the next question correctly, and spells it correctly, wins the game"...

"Finish the lyric... Old MacDonald had a..."

The American presses his buzzer and says "I know, it's Old MacDonald had a ranch - R.A.N.C.H"

Glenn Ridge: "I'm sorry, that's incorrect. Nice work on the spelling though"

The Englishman then presses his buzzer and says "I know, it's Old MacDonald had an estate - E.S.T.A.T.E"

Glenn Ridge: "No, no that's incorrect. The spelling was top notch though"

The Irishman presses the buzzer and excitedly says "I know, it's Old MacDonald had a FARM!"

Glenn Ridge: "THAT'S CORRECT, NOW SPELL IT..."

The Irishman said "E.I.E.I.O"
