Virginia Tech Joke

Post by 2QIK4U »

Q: What does Virginia Tech and Mt Everest have in common?
A: At their peaks they are both minus 32.
"..computer games don't affect kids. I mean if Pacman affected our generation as kids, we'd all be running around in a darkened room, munching pills and listening to repetitive electronic music. "

I agree. The version i heard a few days ago, which at least makes more sense (but isn't any funnier or less crass), is:

Q: What do Virginia Tech and Antarctica have in common? A: They are both minus 33 today.

That one was going around with Port Arthur too, I suspect the same jokes with circulate with a different name.

Doesn't take people long, does it?

Both have killer slopes and are minus 33.

All very clever but too early. Its almost like when their is a tragedy, we go to the drawing board to come up with jokes.

Took 5 hours for steve irwin jokes, and I reckon about 15 minutes for the Van Nguyen jokes.

I'd say 15 seconds for Van Nguyen jokes.

It was timely given Madonna's latest single at the time.

It's how a lot of people deal with tragedy, to make jokes.
