I think the forums resmble the old one too much. I propse to change the sections to the following:

- Game Discussion
AFL: - AFL News
- Games Discussion

Other Sports (Cricket, Basketball etc)
Entertainment (Film, Music etc)
Chit-Chat (Jokes)
Political Discussion (Internal and Geo-Politics)
Multimedia (YouTube links, Images etc)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What does everyone think about that set-up.

Theres a couple of good ideas in there mate, but i'm not sure.

Alot seem to enjoy the simplicity of the old forum, and it brings back fond memories.

Not sure I like having more non-footy boards than footy boards

I think its better to divide the non-footbal sections up instead of having one messy, cluttered "Not so serious stuff" section.

We kept it like the old place for a reason, we liked the old place and would never have left or changed it if we weren't forced elsewhere. Many of the BT'ers have said they want it as similar as possible.

Footy sections should be imo:

Essendon game day
Essendon serious stuff (non game day)
Essendon Drafts and Trades
Non-Essendon Footy

Leave it as is except change and the rest to trades and draft. The serious section is mainly about the bombers but other afl matters are posted their, things specific to games on the weekend go into the game discussion area. There's no need for extra areas.

They are not extra section. They are sub-forums. You can still have it called "Serious Stuff" if you want to remain like the older forum. I jsut think the forum as a whol woudl be easier to navigate around if those sections were given some sub-forums.
