People hate Australia's closeness to America.
Are they really going to be stupid enough to vote for this guy when he's employing AMERICAN tactics???
Mr Rudd - Australia IS NOT America.
When are people going to get it into their heads that just because its done in America doesn't mean it has to be done here?
Bit of originality wouldn't go astray.
I prefer 'K-Rud'.hillchaser wrote:I like to think of him as 'Big Daddy K'
But seriously, has anyone actually looked at that website? "Sign up for KMAIL?" I mean, honestly......
The guy dead set thinks he's Barack Obama. Except that he's short, nerdy, wears glasses, and isn't black. But yeah, other than that, pretty close Kev....
This is the '72 style campaign re-visited. Rudd is taking a leaf out of Whitlam's marketing style and appeal to the younger voter. Gough had his "It's Time" campaign flavoured with the razzamatazz of TV adverts, twangy tunes, dancing girls and all that jazz. Rudd is doing something similar. To many people, it is corny and pathetic. To others, it will be a youthful and energetic impression of a prospective PM as opposed to an aging goose of an incumbent.
Agree. But he's still not the coolest bloke going aroundFilthy wrote:Yep he's all that ....and very, very smart, well educated and well rounded in terms of life and professional experience and as compared to the incumbent, hardly a fanatical idealogue.Staggy wrote:I prefer 'K-Rud'.hillchaser wrote:I like to think of him as 'Big Daddy K'
