In Abbott's position "what would Rudd do"? He would read the front page of the herald sun and base his course of action on that. Abbott at least made a considered response rather than s kneejerk reaction.

My meaning was that you seem to have made a big deal that this spying revelation was under Rudd's Prime Ministership. It seems clear that both countries have conducted extensive spying operations on each other for decades. I saw something on the Insiders yesterday that confirmed that Indonesia was bugging Australian politicians phone in 1999 when the Timor crisis was happening.

The problem now is that whatever was occurring has in 2009 has found the cold light of day because ABC and The Guardian chose to publish the Snowden revelations.

Abbott seems ham-fisted in his language and attitude toward our large northern friend and the Opposition leader brawler modis operandi will not cut the mustard in the role of PM.

No actually the first shot in their "fight" was Sismis pointing out Abbott is anything but Phoney to you.

Which you conveniently ignored and went about posting the umpteenth rubbish cartoon or article from the same news sources you dismiss as rubbish and morons when they say anything negative about the Labour party.

Bonce mate... actually Phoney is a common nickname for rAbbott....apparently not here.

Why don't you love Tandberg....he is a genius and can in a cartoon, encapsulate a 1000 words in a few strokes of the pen. BTW he works for Fairfax not Limited News.

Bertie old fella how are you? :D Tim Lane is a Carlscum/AFL lapdog. Which bit was personal?

The Cheating Carlscum bit or the limp dick bit?

Or my reference to family......

Sam Lane is his daughter and has been trying to out Caro, Caro this year in the Aged. Her performances on TV have been excruciatingly embarrassing as she didn't notice the withering looks of the ex Players, like Lingy and co just want her to STFU....as she waded into us.

Attention: Mr Bouncer34 :)

The Labor Party spells "Labor" "Labor" for the 100th time. It has been doing so since the 1920's so please desist in referring to the The Labor Party as The Labour Party. The Labor Party is a proper name and as such should be spelt as those that named it as such.

Looks like the coalition are doing a complete backflip on education spending. I wouldn't expect anything else from a party that invented giving handout to the privileged and not the less well heeled. Funny how their dry neo-con economic models dont apply to private schools and socialism is alright as long as it goes to the rich and well off.

For all those that raved until they were blue in the face about the so called broken promise on the carbon tax by Gillard I hope you will now will similarly nearly burst jugular veins in talking about the coalition trashing education spending. What Pyne and Abbott are doing about the adherence to the Gonski reforms is far far worse that what Gillard ever did about carbon.

For a government that is just 3 odd months old it gratifies me greatly that the Australian people are quickly seeing the error of voting for these twits and hence the appalling polls for the so called honeymoon period. Now lets keep blocking the axing of the carbon tax, call Abbott's bluff so he arrogantly calls a double dissolution next year and have another election. Shorten may closer to the PMship than we think.Although perhaps Malcolm will have acted by then and got the rifle out to put Abbott and his measly ministers out of their misery.

I totally agree on the Gonski funding. To have painfully come to an agreement with all of the state governments and have all of that work reversed is a a complete waste of time. During that time it is schools that need it most which are suffering.

As for the reversal in the polls this is as much an indictment on the Labor party as it is on the Libs. The ineffectiveness of the Labor government forced the electorate to ditch them for the only other option. Abbott, the least popular opposition leader to get the gig.

Who gives a f***? Expecially after finding out its auto correct. We all know what he is referring to.

Given that moniker was given by a raving lunatic supporting other raving lunatic supported by a US Citizen raving lunatic, gravitating to London Male Toilets, not sure if I would I bring up that false moniker.

But perhaps you would like to comment on this:

"The reported back-flip by the Abbott government on the Gonski education reforms shows that the new conservative government can, after all, do a backflip. Even a double one.

Could this extend to the carbon price? Abbott once was supportive, when the Coalition was trying to make itself indistinguishable from Labor on climate policies, as it pretended later to do on Gonski. Abbott then back-flipped on climate when he was installed as leader by a group of climate change denialists. Could he possibly change his mind again?

You would be forgiven for thinking that this could be the case, if you thought that sound policy and science had any influence on the debate. Yesterday, in the Senate inquiry into the Abbott government’s mass repeal of carbon and related legislation, Treasury officials revealed that they had not costed or analysed the Direct Action policy. Or even been asked to.

That’s probably because, as Climate Change Authority heads Bernie Fraser and Anthea Harris told the same inquiry last week, there is nothing there to analyse. Just a slogan, and a few ideas jotted down into a policy consultation document.

Independent Senator Nick Xenophon told the inquiry chairman he was surprised the modelling had not been done, AAP reports. “I must say, chair, I am quite surprised, shocked in fact, that the treasury hasn’t taken any modelling in respect of this.”

Given that Phoney and the Poodle were in lockstep with Gonski 3 days before this phoney election .... their words.... what do we call them?

Just curious.

“The Ministry of Peace concerns itself with war, the Ministry of Truth with lies, the Ministry of Love with torture and the Ministry of Plenty with starvation. These contradictions are not accidental , nor do they result from ordinary hypocrisy: they are deliberate exercises in doublethink”

When it comes to education spending
You will see fair distribution ending
Under the coalition's Poodle Pyne
You will find he is a outright swine
He tells so many lies

Money for the richest schools
And a lot less for those state school fools
Who believed Tony when he said
'We're on a unity ticket on the Gonski'
Never seen anything more Shonky
As those Abott lies

Every day this new lot on the hill
Find a way to shoot themselves and Australians all
Rest assured brothers and sisters
The Nabob Malcolm will move within the year
To cast this sorry lot asunder
And restore sanity Downunder

MH ... =D>

"In proud, egalitarian Australia, our lowest performing students are as many as eight years behind our highest performing students. Yet education minister Christopher Pyne says we do not have an equity problem in Australia’s education system.

Australia is the kick-arse economy of the western world, sailing through the global financial crisis while enjoying one of the lowest debt ratios. We remain triple AAA rated. We are also the third lowest funders of public education in the OECD, yet Pyne says this doesn’t matter – because we do not have an equity problem.

In Victoria between 2003 and 2011, the percentage of high VCE scores in schools servicing the most disadvantaged students has fallen by a catastrophic 21.2%. Yet Pyne says we do not have an equity problem.

A few years ago, a deputy principal told me about a 13 year old who was hit by a car outside his public high school in a disadvantaged area in Sydney. He was rushed to intensive care. It turned out the boy was seriously short-sighted, and one of five siblings with the same condition. His mother had the prescriptions in her purse, but could not afford glasses for all five children, so none of them were able to learn properly. The school later discovered that the mother was not able to afford the food in the hospital canteen while staying by his bedside, and as such was not eating. To help, they had a gold coin donation day. For the first time ever, they raised a few hundred dollars, which was an achievement. Schools that must fundraise among poor families are generally not very successful, as the families they service have so little to spare. Yet Pyne says we do not have an equity problem in Australia.

Poodles "Couta" Pyne....another DLP refugee in the Lieberals.....from a shelter(shed?)ed, privileged background.....what would he know about equity and fairness to us all. Pffft.

pfft the Government will not listen to "experts" with their "studies". And if those experts happen to be part of a Government department, they won't be for long.

There is always going to be a discrepancy between education outcomes for those with money and those without. "poor in your midst". But we have the resources to ensure that every child has a fighting chance. I am awestruck by the complete and utter ridiculousness of the Government's decision.

Julia said as you say but you conveniently leave out the last bit "....but I am determined to price Carbon" ...... funny how you dudes leave that bit out!

She was then faced with (Rudd's treachery) a hung Parliament where she was able to negotiate a deal with a myriad of Independents and the Greens a Parliament that lasted 3years ...... despite Dr. No, with record Legislation past; despite QT turned into a Circus: despite the Media (MSM); despite all put in front of her.

She succeeded and didn't have to sell her ample arse to do it.

Phoney....2004...Medicare will not be touched....Rolled Gold promise.....and it was. Workchoices etc..... and the Rodent and the now speaker; he is apparently their love Child. Ewwww.....and now all these promises broken on a weekly basis.

Must be non-core; a Lieberal Thing. If you cannot fathom the anger out here in Punterland so come down and go listen in Pubs, Taxi's etc.

The electorate has been conned by the above and Fat Joe blustering's, the Poodle, Barnaby  , Mirabella (thank Christ she is gone to a Fugly Farm), Dutton, Bishop/s, and the rest of your lot who are totally out of their depth..............

And then there is the US Citizen GruppenFurherer Ruphrect Von Murdoch...............

This is his form........

But of course his eminence knew nothing about it.
