My first federal election vote - my main analysis of the day is make sure to vote at a place holding a Sausage Sizzle. And that getting 4 year old kids to hand out Liberal hand to vote cards isn't going to change my vote.
Upper -Greens
Lower - ALP...with knobs on...(wish there was an Icon for praying!!)

Coming from the Geelong region it's very interesting to see the Geelong Addy Plumping for Labor for the first time in many, many years. As far as the election is concerned I'm sorry I'm not in Corangamite. Would love my vote help old fart Stuart MacArthur (he's just turned 70 by the way) become the last of the Libs to get the Big A from the Geelong region.

It was just interesting the vehemence of their belief in Labor and their utter hatred of Howard. Perhaps they are pretty much as rusted on Labor as I am.
I was accosted this morning by a died in the wool Liberal who asked me why I voting for Rudd when she saw the badge. I basically said I was a Labor voter ,I cant stand Howard and WorkChoices was the end. I didnt want to get into a full debate with her because I didnt see the point. But quite frankly the number 1 issue is the environment and there is more chance of Australia moving in the right direction with a Rudd government.
Sorry MH....wasn't meant to be.....there was a very serious piece on this in the Age and is definitely not derogatory.
No offence taken Filth. I was just talking in general.
I'm in the money, money money money money money all for me.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let's develop our Iraq-exit startegy.
Let's ratify the Kyoto Protcol.
Let's send a message to the U.S, that unless military action is a last resort, we will not support the U.S against Iran.
And it is time to balance out the IR laws.
And while I celebrate this result, I must say John Howard's conceding speech was all class. It was the best speech I've seen him deliver, which is kind of ironic.
