Re: Listening too?
That's why I no longer listen to the radio Filth....I have my work laptop loaded up with over 4000 songs and just listen to them at work. Same songs are loaded on to my i-pod to listen to at home together with the rest of my CD collection (that contain songs not suitable for workFilthy wrote:Just heard a great bluesy rocking song called "The Bottle" by a dude called Ash Grunwald. Excellent.
Must be shitful for all these great musos not getting commercial air time because of all the talentless dregs that commercial radio plays.
Most probably the Beatles or the Stones if they were starting out wouldn't get any air time with these drongos running these shit FM stations.

For new stuff, I wander into 78's, a pretty good shop in Perth and check out their what's new section or else get recommendations from friends or music reviews I read in magazines and the paper.

Re: Listening too?
Filthy if you like Ash Grunwald, chances are you would like the Black Keys. Give them a listen if you can, and I believe they are touring Oz in January if you want to catch them live. See them at a small venue, not some open air festival, for best results.Filthy wrote:Just heard a great bluesy rocking song called "The Bottle" by a dude called Ash Grunwald. Excellent.
