He told it how it is in the state of Victoria. Blasted the situation. Read out all the major incidents and how many of them were as a result of bail or parole. Then said the number plate logo should read "Victoria - The Crime State"

not sure on the facts for over there, but over here in WA - we are the biggest meth users in the country, our unemployment is the highest in the country, and our crime rates have surged over the last 12 months.

Victoria might have some competition for "The Crime State".

WA is statistically (per capita) a more dangerous place to live.Vic is at or near the nat average in every category shown.

Law and Order and youths out of control and crime going gang-busters has always been the refuge for neo-cons and their fellow travellers in the media.

Clearly this supposed crime wave and lack of policing only started with the election of the Andrews government. Let's 'hold the presses' for the next installment of bored kids causing some up-set of some car stoolen in Preston or a house break-in etc. etc. I mean this stuff has never happened before.......

The FACT that the population has more than doubled in my lifetime and the rate of violent crime has actually been on the steady and/or decline for the past 40 years is hardly newsworthy.

Lets build more prisons and close more TAFE Colleges. Lets spend 2 bil $ on expanding the police force. Lets ignore Human Rights and Education after all we wanna be more like America....I shoot and I vote!

Move to Qld they love Pauline and bogan politics.
