Rain ‘n Water Shortage

Post by grassy1 » Sun Aug 05, 2018 1:56 am

This is bit of a WeatherWatch thread,in light of the drought in Eastern Australia and even a friend’s Home City of Cape Town in South Africa.

Starting with the latter, judging by the reports I read a few weeks back,it looked like CapeTown was saved from Ground Zero with good early Winter Rains, until recently where recent weather patterns have seen fronts slip south.

Don’t know where things are at now,but hopefully the Cape Town folk have a lot less to worry about,as well as those near Port Elizabeth.

Having seen reports of our Farmers doing it really tough, especially in New South Wales,is enough to make this bugger’s lips quiver!

I’d like to think recent weather patterns have dropped encouraging rainfall figures, but I don’t know if that has happened.

Further Fronts look good, but to those of you in Rural Eastern Australia, what’s the go here?

It's dry awright. Hopefully the rampant 'roo population will diminish with the resultant lack of feed.

Yep,it ain’t good.

Hopefully the farmers in desperate need of rain, gets it in generous proportions, but not of biblical proportions.
