Murray/Darling Basin

Post by grassy1 » Mon Mar 25, 2019 2:25 pm

It’s been in desperate trouble for some time and this thread is here to create discussion on this issue.

But can anyone remotely close to it,tell me if the Cyclonic Spin-offs from Trevor and Veronica has dropped a good bucket of rain on the system and it’s tributaries?

Don’t think one downpour would make much difference, but it’s better than nothing.Unless it gets bled dry in no time at all. #-o

I would think the cyclones would need to be further east wouldn’t they?

As for making a difference, need more than one deluge to keep them topped up...

South-East.

Yes you’d need more than 1 downfall.

Looks like they both shot through too quickly.

14.6 for Menindee sounds like a nice little drop.

But it isn’t enough.

On another note, the feedback I see in Grannyherald doesn’t put 1 B.Joyce in a good light with many Murray/Darling Constituents and it seems he doesn’t get why a Shooters and Fishers candidate took a large seat off the Nationals.
