Not in the same class(funny that! ),but watching Goldie Hawn’s Wildcats,I always was curious about the Guy who played Central High’s Principle Ben Edwards,Nipsy Russell.

Turned out he was a pretty Classy Guy,who was a Pretty Witty Poet,acted with many of the best in Hollywood including Dean Martin,being on the scene until 85,2 years before this Earth lost a good man,with a Beautiful big Smile in 2005.

Still plenty of facts to mull over on this good man.

Played a lot on Mix 101 back in the day.

I haven’t heard the bastard song since it was flogged on radio at the time.

Those nights were really great,though I only caught a couple Live at my watering hole,before the Pub and 6IX went their seperate ways.

That was a shame,as it was just fun watching quite a few devotees dress up in their 50’s clobber and show us their moves and they were bloody good!It wasn’t just 50’s Music though,but these guys barely drew breath,going from one song to another,only stopping during the odd commercial break.

It was all the Rage in 2002 and funnily enough,after this Smug Shit(Your’s Truly)was wondering around an Eagles Lair after the Elimination Final Win against that mob,that song seemed to resonate all night.

Didn’t really care for it that much,but an Extraordinary amount of Alcohol made the memory of that song a right blur.Think I enjoyed the replay of the Game in the Pub,for me to grin at as well.
