Never had a credit card, and also never been to a boxing day sale.

Never went when I lived in the city because I didn't have the spare cash, now I have the cash I live in the sticks

I think sales cease to be good things when you start spending money on things you don't actually want or need.

I agree. Can't think of anything worse than battling with the hordes of troglodytes who go to these things every year thinking they're getting a bargain, when in fact they're getting the garbage leftovers.

Went to a Myer boxing day sale a few yrs back. The only things on sale were crap. Ended up buying a shirt at full price.

Yup. Went to Harvey Normans for a power pack and a few other things yesterday and got nothing on sale. And nearly murdered about thirty people who were just giving me the shits.

Hate Boxing Day sales. Hate it, hate it, hate it!

It's amazing isn't it. Everyone has had thier fill of fighting the crowds in the lead up to Chrissy, but then line up to do it all again Boxing Day, all to buy shit they don't necessarily need or want. Madness! I went to a shopping centre yesterday to get some essentials, and like keri was ready to commit murder after 20 mins.

Whoever dubbed this time of year the 'silly season' was onto something.

Well I totally concur with the sentiments in this post.

I actually live within walking distance of the soulless citidel of Chadstone and come Boxing Day the masses converge on this area like there is no tomorrow. I just cant work out why having just gone through the who-ha of Christmas why you would want to drive around for ages in the Chadstone car park only to get park rage and then fight the moronic hordes for a so called bargain. Then you get the complete smartarses who try to avoid the car park bingo and decide to park in every street within a km of the area. You get the dickheads parking 1 metre away from a corner and a fire hyrant. It seems that parking rules dont apply to these fools.

50% off my arse. What the inflated prices most of this junk was priced at to start with.

God save us and preserve us from these idiots !!!!

I also agree - When I see all those dopes queuing up for those "sales" ...

It's like the retail industry is doing a thick survey.
