America get what they deserve. If the majority of the people are Ill informed or morons then they will vote for a half wit .. like they have in the past 8 years.

What a stupid country ....when the majority of the people reakon that George W should run the country...

The thing that gets me is how this country got so powerfull in the first place.

How about Australia just invades a country on the other side of the world at a cost of gazillion dollars a year... the mind boggles.

what does it matter if you are bogged down in a war with two fronts or that the whole financial system is tanking, and taking the rest of the world with it.... as long as you can own a gun. That is the main thing !

So how did a smart, hardworking country like the USA turn into a bunch of bogans... ?

Palin more than held her own in the debate. A few stumbles when it came to foreign policy but overall she was very solid. Just what she needed after the disasterous week of interviews she gave. I'm dissappointed Biden didn't put the foot down. Yes it could have been unpopular amongst certain voters for attacking a woman but there were some deficencies there which he didn't exploit.

Pretty hard to call a winner. Palin was vague and Biden never really linked his responses back to a common theme. Probably Palin by a nose.

I didnt see it all but watched the first half in full. I found her responses absurd in the extreme. I dont know how these Republicans can keep a straight face when on the one hand constantly wanting deregulation but on the other hand saying that the financial meltdown was caused by a lack of prudential oversight. They cant have it both ways.

=D>.

I laughed out loud at least 5 times reading her Facebook page. "Jesusologist", her political views, Levi Johnston's status update, Jesus' and Bristol's posts on her wall...all gold.

Gina wasn't half Bad in RED HEAT,Filth. Then she met VERY UNATTRACTIVE Man called VIKTOR and she Checked out.

What was her latest effort? You'd think, every time she opens her MOUTH,you can hear the sound of LEAD BALLOONS in just the Republican Camp, let alone the rest of AMERICA.Then again, there's enough FOOLS over there who'd believe her SHIT!Enough here as well.BOLT and HENDERSON for starters. That's 2 too many.

Is this election about the PRESIDENTIAL campaign or the VICE Presidential campaign?

FFS, American politics is utter trash.

Did anyone notice how in the debate when she greet Joe Biden she asked if she could call him Joe ? I am certain that was a ploy to allow her to use that line "Say it aint so Joe".

This Palin phenomenon is like something out of Bob Roberts. You can just imagine the yank hollowmen plotting and scheming behind the scenes on how they can exploit the Joe six pack / Hockey mom pat and the like at every opportunity with her.

In its latest issue, the respected magazine has a cartoon depicting two women walking down a path in a park. "I'm voting Republican," one woman says to the other, "just so Tina Fey will keep impersonating Sarah Palin."
Unfortunately, this is the sort of retarded way of thing over there....

Watch the video down the bottom for the Daily Show's analysis of the stupid vote (screenshot earlier in the thread). Its brilliant.

PS - I love the way that this has become the 'election comedy' thread...!

Ignore the Fox News spiel at the start and just get to the sketch. Fantastic.

It's not only Palin that scares me Filth, the whole Goddam country frightens the living daylights out of me.

Did anyone catch Damien Kingsbury's comment last week on 774...apparently the red necks at Mc Cains rallys have been calling out "Kill Obama" and I think you could rest assured that they wouldn't be joking.

That'd be all that totally f***d up place (not to mention the rest of the world) needs right now ANOTHER assassination(not to mention the repercussions on the stock market...God what would that do to it)
