Re: Votes vs Collingwood
5- Dempsey - really gave some run and spark to our forward line
4- Fletcher- the old general was solid again today
3- Hocking- one of the few players willing to have a go and actually kick the ball
2- Gumby- is growing in confidence it seems
1- Colyer- this young bloke looks to be the real deal!
mentions to Stanton and Watson but their disposal efficiency was terrible.

Re: Votes vs Collingwood
I'm not giving votes for that wreck of a performance - but I will say - kind of well done to Gumby for his best effort so far.

Re: Votes vs Collingwood
Votes based on the situation of our development:
Gumbleton
Hocking
Stanton
People may say Fletch but I thought he made some glaringly obvious mistakes earlier in our back half today - despite clearing well on occasions late in the game. I think it should be his last year with much sadness!

Dempsey and Jobe have been the only players who have brought consistency to their performances this year

My material isn't very good..Oh...and then there's the bladder problem.
Re: Votes vs Collingwood
5 Gumby (18 poss at 72%, 10 marks, 2 goals, 5 i50s) - considering the service was the only positive out of the game.
4 Fletch (29 poss at 76% and 7 contested, 5 1%ers) - some good long kicks to hit targets, unlike the rest of the team.
3 Pears (23 poss at 87%, and 7 contested, 7 1%ers) - Reasonably solid.
2 Reimers (18 poss at 83% and 5 contested) - worked hard from limited opportunities.
1 NLM (26 poss at 73% and 8 contested, 7 marks) - attacked the ball well at times.
Overall, the difference (apart from the scoreboard) was tackles(72-58), contested marks(14-7), clearances(42-24), and inside 50s(67-43).
Our 'dream' ruck combo of Ryder and Hille were abysmal. Hille getting 22 poss, but running at 45% and Ryder 7 poss at 57%

3- those seaguls inside Collingwood's 50 in the last quarter, they did more defensively than most of our players.
2- Dempsey

Re: Votes vs Collingwood
Reimers - simply because in the second quarter he basically said "f*** the game-plan, im kicking it long"
He kicks on the left
He kicks on the riiiiiiiiigggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhttttttttttttt
That boy Hurley
Makes Riewoldt look shite!

1. Farkin I have no idea, maybe Dempsey. Doesn't mean he was good though.

Re: Votes vs Collingwood
Oh dear, do we really have to give votes? Okay, if we must, here goes...
5. Gumby (getting better every week - the only shining light at the moment in a sea of darkness)
4. Pears (we are going to miss him big time for the next 6-8 weeks!!)
3. Hocking (looks like one of the few who actually tries and at least occasionally kicks instead of always handballing)
2. Fletch (although even he is struggling with so much ball coming down so fast)
1. Dempsey (although most of his better touches were after the sting had gone out of the game)
