Essendon v Hawthorn Match Thread
Essendon v Hawthorn Match Thread
A slight wave of optimism has returned to my body, typical at this time of week, well before a game. Don't see how we are going to win...but don't care if we don't SO LONGS there is a rapid improvement. That's all I ask. Another week of the crap dished up the last four weeks then i will tear my hair out
Who else is going tonight? Who is staying home in front of the telly?

Me going.
Could you imagine old Clammy if we have another game like last week. Shudder.
Hoping Slattery, Welsh and McVeigh are all late omissions.
Also, I really want Dyson and Dempsey to NOT play in the backline this week.

I've tipped us to win so here's hoping they can honour my tip

Re: Essendon v Hawthorn Match Thread
I'm stuck here behind the counter at my bro's bottle shop so he and his wife could go to the races and have a day off.. The bastards have hijacked my membership and gone to the footy!!!
I'm relying on you guys to give me some insightful comments about the game on here..

Hurley off the ground for the last 10 minutes, in the rooms and not seen again.
Stanton also went down to the rooms
Too early to call but knowing our luck with injuries, only our best players ever get injured.
Apparently its a right knee - its heavily strapped - having a fitness test on the sidelines during qtr time break

Hurley doing fitness at 1/4 time, wants to get back on,not sure what Doc said.
Alvins misses not to bad, kicked nice goal. Winders, Stanton, Watson, Hooker playing well.

Certainly some better signs so far. More kicking, less farting around in circles with handball.
But still worried about Welsh, Slattery & McVeigh.
Worried that we might run out of puff.

Well Done Hille - another brainfart from a so called team leader. Hands the opposition a gimme goal with a pointless 50M penalty. Word from the commentators is he will get reported
