HB: Dempsey Fletcher NLM
C: Stanton Watson Melksham
HF: Davey Gumbleton Reimers
F: Jetta Hurley Zaharakis

Sorry to disappoint you, Bonce, but I believe that your team is about the best that could be selected. The trouble is that the auto picks such as H. Slatts and Welsh will bring this undone altho I have no problem with Spike keeping his place.

Therefore, T. Slatts may be a casualty from this side for H. Slatts and Benny may be sacrificed for either Lonegan or Dyson.
Too far for Baker now he's on to it, now he’s got it, OPEN GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Dons are in front by one point at the 8 minute mark

Dyson in for Prismall, Ricky's disposal is a bit better and he will be better for the run.

I havent seen Tyson Slattery play a game as yet.(and i live nowhere near bendigo to find out). But I believe Henry Slattery will be better for the run too.

Yeah fair enough. Dyson or Prismall was the one I was tossing up, as for H. Slattery I've always been biased and said he's rubbish so he'll never get in my best 22.

Slattery Pears Fletcher
Winderlich Hooker Dempsey
Melksham Myers Jetta
Zaharakis Gumbleton Welsh
Davey Hurley Hocking

Ryder Watson NLM

Prismall, Stanton, McVeigh, Bellchambers

I like the thought of Dempsey on the wing but i guess it wont happen. So, my team is based around speed off the half back line (Windeerlich and Dempsey) with bigger bodies in the mid-field. I thought Myers and Lovett-Murray both looked really strong when given a run through the middle a few weeks back.

I am also assuming the Slattery and Welsh will retain their places. Welsh may be more effective as a half forward flanker than his normal run with role.

Not many changes but some variations on normal positioning

OK....some wishfull thinking....

B: Houli Pears Hocking
HB: Dempsey Fletcher NLM
C: Stanton Watson Melksham
HF: Davey Gumbleton Reimers
F: Jetta Hurley Zaharakis
R: Ryder Marigliani Howlett
Int: Bellchambers McVeigh Myers Winderlich

In: Marigliani, Reimers, Houli, Howlett
Out: Welsh, H. Slattery, Lonergan, Dyson

Bachar Houli deserves a chance to perform at senior level. Don't see why others get more opportunities to perform. Whatever Houli's deficiencies are, I don't see how different it could be from say - H. Slattery.

Marcus "Muscles" Marigliani - FFS elevate him to the senior list. Have they elevated anyone for Laycock? If not, why not? Not only elevate him to the senior list, but ******* select him!

Reimers. Joke that he isn't in the team. Has more talent than all the "outs" combined.

Howlett. Has done nothing wrong this season. That's why he's been dropped several times

Rather use McVeigh off the bench as a pinch hitter up forward (or as Paul Barnard was used later in his career).

yep agree with you Bonce but problem is most of the half wits that are entering the teams on facebook and the website are just saying out: Knights!! AND Melksham (WTF!!!) the stupid ones seem to outweigh the knowledgeable ones....

just pick the deserving players and keep everyone happy

Looks like me and you are alone on this Benny.

Houli has a lot of potential but doesnt seem to get a chance. Only played 2 games this season and played pretty well gathering 20+ possies each games. But was dropped as soon as the team put in a bad performance. pfft...eat a fat one knighta.

Everyone seems to harp on about Houli turning the ball over too much. He doesnt turn it over THAT much. And is a damn sight better than the other hacks we have running around out there. But some how he never gets a chance. Baffling.

Dont know why everyone has Myers in their team, he is a hack.

Here is my team for th Dawks game:

B McVeigh Pears Hocking
HB Dempsey Fletcher Houli
C Winderlich Watson Melksham
HF Reimers Gumbleton Zarharakis
F Davey Hurley Jetta
R Ryder Stanton NLM
Int Bellchambers Dyson Howlett Prismall

Looks like that Hooker is available so T Slattery will not be picked , also i like to see Atkinson in the team for some pace & run from the backline. Perhaps it will be a toss up between Howlett & Atkinson otherwise the team looks good , send it to Knights.

Houli gets another chance while I think Howlett and Atkinson should not have been dropped. Reimers is one of the best players on our list.

Has Hooker played in the VFL since his injury? If he had I would have included him.

I don't think Houli will get near it.

I'd like to see Winderlich playing from a forward pocket for a while, and on a half forward flank. Think he is getting a bit lost up the ground. He's a good lead-up forward for his size.

Windylick's kicking for goal has been horrid this year though. He has a serious bout of the yips. Couldn't believe he went for a short pass as he was running into goal 30 metres out last week...

Having a bad hammy injury he's better off having a run in the twos and making sure it 100% first. Wouldn't want to risk having him getting badly beaten on the night because he's not quite there having a month off or risking a recurrence.

I like H Slattery but last week we did miss that more agressive bigger body and run that Atkinson gave us in his spot.

Would love to see Houli get a game. Sadly he makes one blue he's the first to get dropped - others make dozens and they're the first picked. :?

Is Reimers fit? A number of the posters on Bomberblitz who went to the Box Hill game said that it looked like he picked up a foot injury in the last quarter.

I'd go with that, although Hooker will be in and probably should be with Franklin and Roughead.
Perhaps instead of Marigliani, although I really want to see him play.
Aaron Francis is the Messiah.
