Ess vs Adel match thread
A couple of hours before the match and im excited to see how our young guys will go tonight... especially our defence without Fletch and Pears and how TB goes in the ruck without Hille.
Can our forward line kick enough goals to win? Can our midfielders win the ball enough through the middle? Will our defence be able to hold the likes of Tippett, Walker and Porplyzia?
The game is being shown live on 10 tonight so im guessing a lot of people wont be on here. It is also being shown at Windy Hill tonight and Jason Johnson will be available to chat on the EFC website during the match.
I havent tipped us to win... but i hope its a nice, tight game.

Got a terrible feeling for some reason.
You couldn't fool your own mother on the foolingest day of your life with an electrified fooling machine.

To please quite a few, Henry Slattery in in doubt for tonight. If the selectors have any brains, they will select Courtenay Dempsey as a replacement.

Re: Ess vs Adel match thread
Hocking goals after about 20 handballs around our forward 50....
The boys have started really well. Tyson Slats is playing full back on Walker at the moment. Hooker on Tippett.
We had complete control of that and what does Prizz do.... kick it straight to a Crows player... goes down the other end for a goal to Walker.

We just arent finding targets up forward at the moment... Crows running it out of their defence way too easy.
Tippett gets another one
Tippett gets another one
Re: Ess vs Adel match thread
How do we give them so much space in the corridor?
Crows are rubbish, and we are worse.

Some soft f****** decisions.
Re: Ess vs Adel match thread
Being absolutely done over with vaseline by the umps... the disparity in frees and 50's when the sins are occuring both ways is disgusting. The kick to Davey's head was the worst.
