Re: Not to-Knight
yeah Knights is a bit stiff, I still think the club was moving forwards, however I certainly don't feel the club will go backwards with Hird and his coaching team.
2011 should be an interesting year.
I hope we arent sitting on this board in June next year with the club onfield being up shit creek.

Why would you feel sorry for Knights.
He managed to convince himself and others he could coach.Ended up being promoted well above his capabilities.
Like Leonardo Di Caprio in "Catch me if you can",he was eventually caught out.
Peter Jackson sure left his mark.

Yeah OK.
Like the snub though.
Without willing him any harm wish he would just disappear into the ether for a while and pursue something that suits.
Storeman at Safeway perhaps.

Re: Not to-Knight
Really looking forward to tonight, never been to a B&F before and it looks like I've picked the right one to go to for the first time.
Re: Not to-Knight
Flithy, I think Schwab and Melbourne are dirty on Wellman because they believed they had a verbal commitment from him to re-sign with them for next year.
Still it's there own fault that they didn't get him to sign anything tying him to their shitheap of a club.
James Frawley was apparently spewing that he left, bodes well for us an our young KPD in Pears, Hurley and Hooker.

I know I have been a pretty vocal Knights basher towards the end and its pretty easy to sink the boot in when the guy is down but seriously, why would he even want to attend. How awkward would you feel? I have no doubt that the club has phoned him and simply said its best for both parties if he stayed away and I am pretty sure MK would have agreed before realising he was talking into the wrong end of the phone.

You got to admit its funny though
Re: Not to-Knight
The Best & Fairest is essentially going to be a celebration of the Great One coming back to the club.
Why would Knights want to celebrate that, seeing that the moment Hird opened his mouth and indicated any kind of interest in coaching the club it was the final nail in his coffin.
Of course there were plenty of other nails in his coffin, placed there by no one but himself, but it was Hirdy's statement about being interested in the club that made Knights sacking a certainity.

Re: Not to-Knight
Not fussed Knights doesn't front, and can't see the point of the article. Its a dammed if the club invites him (what and rub his nose into it?) and dammed if it doesn't.
For the purposes of courtesy and form, Knights should be acknowleged for his efforts tonight ... and then move on.
