So what do we do for a crust?
dingus I live in your local area (adelaide) so tell me more about this... um.... "software"dingus wrote:I'm a consultant. I consult.
I also distribute software and provide training/support for it.
I also run a stable of exotic call girls in and around the local area, but I'll probably give that up to concentrate on the software full time.
Re: So what do we do for a crust?
It's been a long while since this topic was made and there were a lot of people studying, how did you all go?
I know I'm glad to have made a massive career change, from sitting behind a desk for the past 10 years to now working outside with horses, and loving it. Anyone else make career changes? Would like to?

I've been in the software industry forever mainly focussing on payroll and human resources solutions. I have developed, marketed, sold and supported the bloody products for an eternity and would love to do something different but difficult to restart at my tender years. Also dabble as a musician getting about 12 gigs a year which keeps me sane.
Too far for Baker now he's on to it, now he’s got it, OPEN GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Dons are in front by one point at the 8 minute mark

I finished studying last year. I did an advanced diploma in Sports Therapy, I'm hoping the college I went to gets the degree they have been working on approved so I can do that as well. While I've been studying I've been working in a gym.
Re: So what do we do for a crust?
Since I finished studying in 2006, I have worked in ICT for the Vic Government. Originally at DHS, and now at CenITex. Have been doing infrastructure support for most of it. Have applied for a senior position, will see how that goes.

Ghost tour guide? That is the single most random one I've seen so far.
I've had another seachange in career and I'm working as a consultant for an electricity company. Bit of a change from the last role, which was Insurance. Still working for a company everyone hates though, so it's not THAT different.
