I think that's the case.j-mac31 wrote:I've got a feeling it's even less than $40k, although I'm not certain and they may not all be on the same money.Windy_Hill wrote:Just out of interest, does anyone know what a rookie listed player gets paid - its the bare minimum I think - $45,000 pa??
I believe the Gnome gets about $300,000 a year.
I hope EFC passes the hat around for Stewie Crameri (or at least gets the Gnome to shout him a drink or two)
But now that he's playing seniors he definitely also gets match payments and he may even get an automatic base contract upgrade.
First year draftees are on a base wage of $55k(ish)
Not sure on rookies (presumably a bit less than a first year draftee), but with a top up having now become a senior list player he could probably expect to make $80k odd with match payments etc.

Crameri is eligible for Rising Star Nomination this year (under 21 and played less than 10 games at the start of season).hop wrote:robbie67 wrote:I think that Crameri would be running second in the club B&F at the minute. He is definately in my early season AA team.
AA Team? That's like a nomination for Rising Star - forget it - wrong club. Move on - nothing to see here.
May be due with another good game.

Its either the fact that I cannot handle numbers (lets see ... 2011 -1988 = 20???) or the two missing years from my memory that resulted from a really really bad relationship.
I'd prefer the lattter excuse.

Re: Crameri
Good to read in the Sun this week that the club have started contract talks, he has proven to be a very handy mature aged forward this season.

haha I quite like him, would have liked him to become a really decent player for us. Still holding hope that he may get a game soon!!robrulz5 wrote:Nothing to be afraid of!Mrs Mercuri wrote: Spells the end of Willo's career I'm afraid....
Re: Crameri
I like him as well but it is going to be tough with so many marking options ahead of him. He is a good sign of the depth we have.Mrs Mercuri wrote:haha I quite like him, would have liked him to become a really decent player for us. Re: Crameri
Good article. If he keeps this up, the AA selectors wont be able to ignore him. If State of Origin was still around, he would be on the Half Forward Flank.
Re: Crameri
very good article and great to know what he has done over the years to make it with the EFC, good to know that he wont ever go anywhere else too. fast becoming one of the first few picked each week

And kudos to the coaching team for recognising the guy's potential and playing him in the corrects spot. Had it been me, I would have kept Marigliani and not Crameri.
