Cracking game last night between Melbourne and Brisbane. 9 onto 12 and the so called best side ever couldn't get the win.

Young Thomas in goal was magnificent.

It was a performance on pure ticker by Melbourne after a shocking Red shown to Silvio's boy.

Watched tonight's match between Melbourne Victory & Perth Glory. Firstly, Perth should have won...they were the far better team and Victory were gifted first goal from a pathetic penalty decision. The second goal was fair just poor defense from Glory. Don't know if you'd attribute that goal to their team's deflated demeanours after going down a man, then the bad penalty. Credit to the Glory. Also, it staggers me how brutal a game soccer ("football") is and how cut throat fans are when their team is not performing. We would've gone through so many coaches at Essendon if we had the same mentality towards coaching and performance, e.g. in AFL we give coaches time to develop lists and game plans and terminate contracts when it was deemed appropriate. Interesting night at Etihad...expect a coaching change soon or else people will get even angrier. Reminds me of end of 2010 season and Matty Knights.

Said it before and I'll say it again - Mehmet Durakovic (and the MVFC board) havent' got the foggiest f****** idea what they're doing.

You heard correctly

Seriously the standard of refereeing is destroying this game... Makes it unwatchable when there are so many glaring errors in the game

Went to my first Victory game in 2 years. Was okay...they got the points, played decent. Good crowd, good atmosphere and a bit of fun between Newcastle & Victory fans.

Happy Birthday to Koala :) Was a great night out!

What a finish to the Roar-Sydney game!

Sydney lead 1-0 going into the 95th minute of injury time and Brisbane get a free kick and score, 20-30 seconds later the Roar score again and win 2-1. A fight almost broke out at the end as well.

Kewell is on fire at the moment. His last few games have been so good. He is a class above any other player.

If he had scored that goal on Friday night it would have been goal of the season.

He will keep getting better as well.
