I reckon Carlton will be seriously looking at Goddard and I recall thats where he wanted to play until St Kilda got in before the Scum at the Draft that year
Re: BJ Goddard
He has played in 3 GF's and St.Kilda seem to be a much more stable club than us at the moment.BenDoolan wrote:True. But would someone want to stay at St.Kilda for so long?robrulz5 wrote:Why would anyone want to come to Essendon at the moment???
Re: BJ Goddard
Wont be getting near another one in a very very long time. Their list is more rubbish then ours.robrulz5 wrote:He has played in 3 GF's and St.Kilda seem to be a much more stable club than us at the moment.BenDoolan wrote:True. Essendon Football Club- We arent arrogant, just deluded.
Re: BJ Goddard
I'm not so certain on that, they gave us a beating and the last month we have shown where we are really at.boncer34 wrote: Wont be getting near another one in a very very long time. Their list is more rubbish then ours.
Re: BJ Goddard
He was a Carlton supporter as a kid, wanted to go to Carlton and was headed to Carlton until they lost all their draft picks for cheating the salary cap.
Money talks though.

Stop doing this.
We have as much chance of landing BJ as we have Santa Claus or the Tooth Fairy.

You sure they're not already on our list? They'd fit right in with the other ficticious footballers we have....hop wrote:Stop doing this.

Re: BJ Goddard
The other day someone else suggested Goddard and I was mostly against it because of his age and he doesn't really solve our midfield problems, which we need to get right. But now I'm all for it.
Heppell's already playing midfield. He can replace Dempsey and play well enough that the odd 50 won't seem so costly.bomber91 wrote:- He slots into HBF, releasing Heppell as our outside mid. A midfield with Watson, Howlett, Stanton, Zaharakis, Heppell, Hocking and even Myers doesn't sound bad to me.
Aaron Francis is the Messiah.
