Sack the coach?
Re: Sack the coach?
I aint going nowhere.
Its people that bag our great club coaching staff and players that make us look like another Ninthmond...
Its people that jeered Stanton that can go and get stuffed.
Its people that bag our players that can do the same.
They all try but some are more gifted than others.
Some are born with ultimate talent and some have to work really hard at it. eg.Jobe.
And some just don't make it.
Does this make them shit trucks??? etc.etc. etc...???

Re: Sack the coach?
No, it's people like you who let the club think they can get away with what they have been serving up. It's people like you let the likes of Peter Jackson think he could cut money from out football department in 2007, and we wouldnt notice.stryper wrote:I aint going nowhere.

will reserve opinion until trade week, delisting cut off
if they keep some of the obvious crap then like I said before we will know they arn't serious about getting this club right
no-one is bigger then the club NO-ONE! (but sadly the club allows it to happen)

Re: Sack the coach?
The biggest thing that stands out for me, by bumping this thread from a year ago, is...
it proves we really have come absolutely nowhere in the last twelve months.
We here at BT are still all arguing over whether it's fitness or injuries or game plan or lack of cattle or a combination of all of the above.
Meanwhile the team are continuing to promise gold in the first half of the season and deliver crap in the second half.
Same old, same old.

I keep saying we should change our nickname back to the Same Olds. It makes more sense than the Bombers that's for sure.billyduckworth wrote: Same old, same old.

Re: Sack the coach?
In the first half of the year we played GWS, Gold Coast, Melbourne and Port, the bottom 4 teams. We struggled to put away three of them and lost to the fourth.Mrs Mercuri wrote:Thank you!! =D> Someone with some sense on herelittle_ripper wrote:He coached a side that had one of the best defences and attacks in the comp for half a season.
I believe he can coach. The players are rooted. Can't execute.
We fell over the line against North, who were shit in the first half of the year. We also gave up a big lead to Richmond before getting back for another close win.
The only good wins were against Carlton and West Coast (given Brisbane are also shit) and Carlton aren't even that good.
Aaron Francis is the Messiah.

Interesting to re read this thread.
Stryper, no offence taken mate, as I stated - not my opinion to start with but playing devils advocate.
And don't waste your time butting heads with Robbie - In Robbieworld he's never ever wrong

Really? I actually admit when I'm wrong. It's you apologists who think the club is never wrong, and every player is a sacred cow.Megan wrote:Interesting to re read this thread.

Re: Sack the coach?
Just on some of the comments in here...and my two bob's worth...
1) I think Hirdy needs to at least see out his contract to see if things can change. Maybe injuries and the change in regime has taken it's toll, maybe not...
2) Even if the club storms into finals in the next couple of years, unless we win a flag, wait until near the end of the final to extend the contract (don't make the same mistake that was made with Knighta here...)
3) If players are not towing the line, then they should be culled from the list as early as possible (either outright dumped or traded I don't care which), but if there are no significant changes to our list over the next two years and things don't improve, then I have to question what is going on...
Finally, whilst we won most of our game at the start of the year, I don't think we were winning well. Only games that I recall us really performing in for 4 quarters was the West Coast game and possible Carlton (obviously the first time)...and off topic just to rub it in...SUCK SHIT YOU CHEATING SCUM CAUSE YOU LOST TO GC BEFORE WE DID AND f***** YOUR OWN CHANCES AT FINALS IN THE PROCESS
