They haven't confirmed we are playing them then have they?
The final Thursday game will be a night clash between West Coast and Essendon at Patersons Stadium in round 14.
got to be in bloody Perth for a wedding in April, might as well catch some footy whilst there too. Anyone got Andy D's phone #, try to get our perth game shifted?

We've got Collingwood twice. Barring something extraordinary, we'll have Adelaide twice. That's it for the top 8 teams.
But then we have Carlton & Richmond twice. Not sure if my calculations are correct, but I do believe that only leaves one more spot open. If this spot is not filled by GC or GWS, I will be making a few Molotov cocktails to put thru the windows of AFL House.
We had 5 teams twice this yr - the usual 3 plus Norf & Port. The fixture so far suggests Ade & StK.
Initially I expected a lower ranked side (Dogs perhaps since they've been part of some sort of AFL rotation with us in previous yrs of fixtures), but it seems they just distinguish between final 8 teams & the rest rather than exact positions. I expect to see us get GWS, GC, Freo at home, & Syd, Bris away.
yep few reports coming through that we will play GWS twice in 2013.
make it count EFC

If he(sheeds) really does plan on hanging up the coaches whistle in 2013 for good, then I can see no fitting way to end his career in Melbourne with a farewell game against us. Clubs should do a dual banner or something.
Perhaps GWS(H) in one of the last rounds of the season.

or a lightning Premiership involving us, GWS, Prahran and Richmond.......
Positives:
GWS twice
BRIS, PA, GC, WCE at Etihad
5 Friday night games
Only one trip to AAMI (which we get out of the way early)
Only play 2 top 8 sides twice: Filth (standard) and WCE (which i don't mind because we will probably break even)
Negatives:
Play every interstate finalist away (ADEL, FREM, SYD, WCE)
Paterson Stadium twice (but lets face it, it's either WA twice or SA twice so meh)
Three interstate 6-day breaks:
R2 play Melb @ MCG then 6-day break to play Freo @ PS R3
R10 play Sydney @ SCG then 6-day break to play Scum R11
R17 play GWS @ Skoda then 6-day break to play Hawks R18
Toughish run home from R18 (HAW, Filth, WCE, NM, Scum, RICH)
From a members point of view:
ANZAC day blockbuster home game
Potential Friday night home game blockbusters against Scum and Hawks
Verdict: challenging, but not the hardest draw we've ever had. about what we deserve considering where we finished up.
Nice wrap up. I view our finish as decent though, I don't think a real soft finish does any great service, a hard finish(for example the swans in 2012) seemed to do them a great favour preparing them for finals intensity.
in the last month, if I read it right, 3 full 7 day breaks, no travelling and our last two matches at the G against competitive but not big hard bodied sides.(richmond and carlton similar level to us).
Hopefully means less fatigue, but still pretty decent preparation if the dons are going to make finals.
I think its a tough draw and the road trips are all pretty demanding
My early call (and this is subject to serious review in about 5 months) is this looks like a 12-13 win draw for us. I repeat, an early call that could change dramatically as we see how the form of both the Bombers and other teams develop.
