Re: Clear Yer Lockers....
hard to argue with that.
i've got serious reservations about howlett (although battled hard tonight) and jmerrett also.
i can't see us going anywhere any time soon. and by soon I mean (another) 10 years.

Yep, if you combined all their key attributes into a single player all you'd get is a half-paced plodder with a leap who can't hit a target.BenDoolan wrote:Brent Stanton

Really need to get proper footballers, like what the Dawks mostly get.

He is a rookie so I think it's either delist or senior list time for him isn't it? doubt it will be the senior list unfortunately for himdonsgetthere wrote: steinberg too please.

I think we certainly add Howlett to the list. For a guy who rotates into the middle he simply doesn't get enough of the ball.

Re: Clear Yer Lockers....
Come trade time we must do the following
1. Be realistic
2. recruit pace
3. Guys who can kick
I would start with offering up all the above to the usual suspects GC and GWS
They don't need to be established stars... We won't get those players offering Melksham.
But focusing on the key attributes of pace and disposal opens up the door for some young kids with potential.

In old fart speak, getting the bullet means - getting sacked.
Nothing usually happens until something happens.

Dumb decision - would have been more likely to find another club with EFC negotiating a trade (would take a third round for him) ... overinflated view of his currency IMHO.Royza wrote:Jetta gone, I know you are all shattered: http://www.afl.com.au/news/2014-09-07/j ... ts-bombers

(most of them in the Ovens and Murray league....)
Like a turd in the swimming pool, these are the days of our EFC lives
Re: Clear Yer Lockers....
Old news about Jetta isn't it? The club have him permission to look elsewhere a few weeks ago.
Wonder who gets no.7?

Re: Clear Yer Lockers....
Melky will stay and hopefully stay and develop into a better more consistent player.
Would love the Emu to stay!! I know he's frustrating at times but does offer pace and a bit of X factor
Stants ain't going anywhere no matter how much we wish
Benny Howlett will stay
Hardingham could be traded for a late pick
Pears could also be traded for late pick.
