Fair enough by your old coach, and I agree he should have been suspended. I think it was Lethal on the coverage declared that it was "not a kicking action".

I wonder how Matthews defines "kicking motion" and why this example of a deliberate use of the foot on a player isn't? Surely he doesn't narrowly define a kick as only the motion involved in kicking. Maybe the charge should've been "stomping, from the recumbent position".
