Pick 1

Post by Gimps »

If the rumours are true about Tom Mitchell being offered 380k a year by Sydney...

I think we should piss off Pick 1 for two first rounders, bank one for a pick, then use the other plus pick 19 and 37..

Be aggressive as f*** and get both Hartlett & Mitchell.

McCluggage is not a better prospect than those two.

i like deledio as a player but he is around 28-29 i believe. he's too old to be trading early first rd picks for imo.

lol, sorry. thought it was a strange propsition. but people around here are wanting to bite on any decent player supposedly up for trade considerations. so it was hard to tell.

Late night thoughts..

Pick 1 for Patton and Pick 15, swap our Pick 37 for GWS 32.

Pick 19 for Hartlett

Pick 26 and Pick 55 can go to Wet Toast for Darling & McKenzie.

OUT - Pick 1, Pick 19, Pick 26, Pick 37, Pick 55

IN - Pick 15, Pick 32, Darling, Hartlett, McKenzie, Patton

Go to the draft with 15, 32 and a late pick for Tippa. Plus Pick 1 PSD

Get Dea & Kelly as delisted free agents.

That accounts for the 6 already gone, Dempsey, Kommer, Hams and one more clogger.

B: Baguley Hooker McKenzie
HB: Kelly Hurley Hartlett
C: Zaka Heppell Goddard
HF: Langford Daniher Colyer
F: Darling Patton Fantasia
R: Burger Watson Merrett

I/C: Myers Francis Parish Laverde

EM: Bellcho, Tippa, Hocking, Dea, Hartley

As I mentioned on another thread - there is discussion about us swapping our no 1 pick for picks 5 and 7 with GWS. They have 7 already and are prepared to do a deal with Carlton for the no 5 pick.

Nice pipe dream gimps...but I would want Patton and a top 10 pick for pick 1 and swap our 3rd round pick for thier 4th round pick...
The others seem about right to me...

Watched the TAC All stars game.

McCluggage is gold. Pure gold.

Kicked 4 goals and had a couple of goal assists. Pure class

Mcgrath did a couple of nice things but was generally quiet

Ainsworth looked sharp but not a number 1 Pick.

It is. Obviously if we got it done with the pick in the 30's and 55, good stuff. Just not sure the Eagles would go for it, so 26 & 55 is more of a worst case scenario.

Do you think they're going to ask for a 1st rounder?

I think expecting to get a 24 year old KPF that has gone 40+ a couple of times already is on the extreme end of pushing your luck and nowhere near "worst case."

Would you really class him as a KPF?

Meeting should be over.

Sam Petrovski-Seton.

Doesn't want to play for the Eagles or Dockers.Nor any Club outside Victoria.

A MELBOURNE based Club(or Geelong)would be fine.

Tough decision to make, given we interviewed him, between him and young McCluggidge.
