Absolutely f****** Ridiculous!
Has it got something to do with the Perth Stadium not being ready and the WACA needing to be preserved for the Ashes? Plus the time difference?
I think venues were predetermined? Few games Brisbane, WACA, Sydney, Hobart? Lots of neutral games throughout.

Makes sense. Although, scheduling a Final in Hobart in October seems a bit risky...

WA 323 (S. Marsh 63, H. Cartwright 61, N. Coulter-Nile 42, J. Bird 4-61, G. Bell 3-73, S. Rainbird 2-79) & 9/272 dec (J. Richardson 71, N. Coulter-Nile 52, S. Rainbird 3-47, A. Fekete 2-80, J. Chase Sayers keeps on keeping on. Worth considering for the Day / Night Test.

Khawaja is a Flat Track Bully according to my old Ozfooty sparring Buddy and Bomber Hater,Peter North.

Anyone ever get to The G for the Sheffield Shield Matches?

Love to see a photo of the thickest part of a 500 crowd(?).

Gee,if I lived in Melbourne,I'd be there in a Flash.

I suppose he’s a Shaun Marsh lover? Hahaha, what a f****** joke. Heard Justin Langer blow SMarsh’s trumpet during the week. GAGF. Khawaja has more ability in his toe jam than that ultra inconsistent douche bag.

Yes,he is actually.  Though one thing in Sean Marsh's favour is he is a better player of Spin, than he is of pace and swing.Combine the latter 2 with the New Ball and he's Buggered! #-o

Do you go to The G for Shield Matches,Ben?

The only time I saw action at a Shield game at the G was when I was there at a corporate function in the Jim Stynes room - and that was v SA as well.

Unfortunately, the old Simmer Holiday doesn't have Sheffield Shield Games anymore. It's been taken over by Mickey Mouse Cricket.

Will see if there's a possibility early next season, that coincides with the Spring Carnival.

SHEFFIELD SHIELD;

TAS 172 (G. Bailey 106, Fawad Ahmed 4-68, S. Boland 3-43, C. Tremain 2-27) & 2/424 dec (A. Doolan 247*, T. Paine 71*, G. Bailey 59) defeated VIC on 1st innings 144 (M. Harris 86, T. Rogers 4-21, G. Bell 4-38) & 5/106 (G. Maxwell 45*, S. Rainbird 2-33)

QLD 183 (U. Khawaja 78*, D. Bollinger 3-38, T. Copeland 3-33, N. Lyon 3-59) & 215 (M. Labuschagne 88, U. Khawaja 52, S. Abbott 4-65, D. Bollinger 3-66) defeated outright by NSW 271 (D. Hughes 98*, S. Smith 44, M. Neser 3-58, J. Wildermuth 2-53) & 4/130 (L. Feldman 3-45)

WA 7/514 dec (C. Bancroft 228*, M. Marsh 95, J. Mennie 3-127, D. Worrall 2-122) & 5/129 (S. Marsh 52, J. Mennie 2-24, C. Sayers 2-36) defeated outright by SA 363 (J. Weatherald 152, A. Carey 46*, J. Richardson 4-90, D. Moody 3-95) & 5/325 (J. Weatherald 143, C. Ferguson 88, A. Holder 3-45)

Awesome stuff from Alex Doolan and Cam Bancroft. Bancroft should get a gig in the 1st Test. Has scored a pile of runs in the first 3 rounds. Renshaw will be lucky to retain his spot.

Unbelievable stuff from South Australia to win outright after WA scoring over 500 in the 1st innings. Jake Weatherald the hero.

I’m lost with the keeping spot. Better off just putting a rubbish bin behind the stumps and just play a batsman at No. 7

Can’t believe they’re saying Cartwright has the No. 6 spot. f****** why? He scored 18 in the last Test. And has scored the following this shield season: 61, 38, 0, 0, 35, 18.

GAGF!
