World cup

Post by Crazyman »

Thought the Aussie’s played very well.

Started scratchy, but built into it and a tad unlucky to not get a draw...

Hernandez dives better than the Chinese, would go close to s perfect 10

Germans lose to Mexico. Should've been 4-0. 1-0.

Tight cup so far.
Aussie’s very unlucky.
Portugal v Spain ripper.
Brazil held.
Germans lose.
Could be a first time winner - I’m hoping Belgium.

Optus are going well. It's a joke that they have the rights in the first place.

Massive game for the Aussies on Thursday. A win would be massive but a draw and a win against Peru might get us through.

Despite the 2 - 0 Win over unlucky Costa Rica,I was pretty cheesed off by 🇧🇷’S performance(if you can call it that).

They have a Fair way to go,before they take te Path to Redemption, especially YOU Neymar!

Yeah, you got a Goal, but you were a Petulant LittleTwerp who deserved a Straight RED CARD On several occasions, not just the Blatant Acting for a Penalty!

Thank Heavens for Marcello whose Tirelessly worked his Arse off and his Manager was in No Doubt about who Realy deserved the Thanks for our escape today.

Commiserations to Costa Rica. But for Marcello, you guys deserved a point for your efforts today, possibly All 3!

I’m staggered Fozzie was arguing for Neymar to have the penalty. It was as soft a contact as you could imagine.

And as for Bert van M - hard to be too critical given we’ve been more competitive than most expected, but....

Six substitutions over two games and no room for the only bloke really capable of putting the ball in the net in general play?

Really missed opportunity to take the three points v the Danes.

Result didn’t matter in the end.
But if you can’t score you can’t win.

Van Marwijk didn’t really advance his cause much in General, but I won’t go crook at him.

If anything, things were pear shaped when Ange pulled the plug.He should have finished what he started and NEVER given in to the Smug Critics that fogged him for months.

Oh well, let’s see what the new Graham Arnold regime brings us

Thing is Grassy that under both Ange and Van Marwijk, we couldn’t score goals.

Has been an ongoing theme for years.

We are too defensive and can’t find the f****** net.

They’re both gone now,so we move onwards hopefully.

Assuming it’s still a goer in 2022,it’s Qatar from November 21 - December 18.

One week less for the same amount of Qualified Teams?Hmmmmmmm!

Round Robins finished.

Round of 16 started last night, with NO Germany!

The French took care of Argentina 4 - 3 and Uruguay knocked out Portugal 2 - 1,thanks to 2 Goals from Carvani.

18 Countries gone,13 to go before this Tournament finds a Winner.

Putting aside my hopes for Brazil to Win it,the French are looking good.

Belgium are possibles to go where they have never been before, but can they?

What of Russia? Will they get past Spain?Have the Spanish boys had their day,or will Diego Costa drag them past the Host Nation?

Go Columbia!Give the cocky Poms a Hiding!

Great game France v arg last night.
Some super goals.

Thank F Portugal are out, they are just too dour defensively.

I’m still hoping for an underdog rather than a heavy weight to get up - Belgium? Croatia? Now that would be a story.

Brazil through to the Quarter Finals.

2 - 0 v Mexico.

One more step on the Massive path to Redemption!

Won’t be easy to get past Belgium this time, though maybe their last gasp escape against Japan, will leave ‘em Knackered?!

Brazil v mexico good open game - end to end stuff with Brazil creating more genuine chances.

Second half Belgium v Japan is unbelievably good stuff. Very unlucky for Japan not to cause the upset.

Big Brazil v Belgium quarter final coming up.

The Sun still rises in the East, sets in the West, but for Millions in Brazil, the End of The World has come again,

Oh well,if we’re all still around for Qatar, there’s plenty of work to do and the odd Copa America to pick up along the way.

Well done Belgium! You ambushed Brazil perfectly and now a Bigger opportunity awaits you, greater than ‘86 and Maradonna at The Azteca.

A Semi Final against France, with much Bigger Stakes than the 3rd Place play-off in the same tournament.Good Luck to you!

For all his talent,Neymar has a lot of growing up to do and he,quite rightly deserves great criticism for his antics.Did you know that sort of stuff was going to run into a Referee such as last night,Son?

You have 4 years to think about it.And Cop your Critics sweet,Buddy!

Except Lothar Mattaeus!Does the word Hypocrite mean anything to you,Pal?!

Not just diving with your good buddy Jurgen, but the Bloody Cheating going on in West Germany or Germany’s name?

Does 1990 ring a bell? How did you get that Final Penslty again?Refresh my memory,it was a Duve, right?!Of course it bloody was!

And the ‘82 World Cup.Does the word Fix mean anything to you?Ecen your own Supporters were disgusted by that Farce between West Germany and Austria.

And Schumacher?Thug!I’ll cop any criticism on Neymar, but not from those living in Glass Houses such as YOU,Lothar!
