Is the club keeping it on the down low re trade targets? Why is it that you hear about Richmond, St Kilda and North Melbourne’s plans but only the odd and rather vague passing mention of Essendon’s interest in certain players. Surely we have to go out and land a marquee player to help take the club to the next level in Season 2018?
Because, unlike North Melbourne and St Kilda, we're a professionally run organisation that doesn't leak every offer and approach to the media in order to build false hope amongst the fans that we're "getting things done."

Richmond is different because Hawthorn and Collingwood have leaked they aren't getting Lynch and seeing Lynch's management indicated it was a 3 horse race everyone has put 2 and 2 together.

We're up to our eyeballs in a few players, whether or not it pans out is an entirely different matter.
I’m hearing Daniel Menzel, Stewart Crameri and Michael Rischitelli are on our radar

I wonder how much the success of last year’s recruits will play on targeted trades. Often a player will switch clubs to only slip off the charts. I am expecting all 3 of our big recruits to finish Top 10 in the B&F.

FWIW I'd be surprised if we took our first pick to the draft.

More fun without it. There is hope that some dumb journo (cue Tom Browne) might run with the story on the news...

Barrett's afl.com.au quote.
If

you belted it out of the park last trade period with Smith, Stringer and Saad ...
then

we know you're winding up again. Batter, batter, swing, batter. Shiel? May? Scully?

Any substance to the Luke Parker rumours....not yet 26 and 150+ games - 2 x B&F winner at Sydney and runner up in the Brownlow. All Australian

Has the hardness we need

Would certainly be a good addition even at 26 years old. Small forward midfielder with distinguished career. Age not a problem seeing as we have so many young guns who could learn from him. What is his status presently?

I think he is contracted but I have heard several media reports saying he is wanting out. Sydney may need to look at a semi-rebuild and could pick up some pretty decent trades for Parker and Hannebury

Just wondering.but I wonder if this name will pop up in the next year or 3?

Jordon Kickett

Given Derek was from Kellerberrin/Tammin,maybe not.

If he is any sort of relation,I’ll be curious to know where this 16 year old will be heading shortly?

He kicked 4 Goalsin the Avon Association Grand Final,to help Northam Railways Bombers knock off Kellerberrin/Tammin.

It was Railways 1st Flag in quite some time.

Hmmmmmmm,.......

Scully is the most overpriced tagger in history.

The GWS have to shed over $1M in salary cap. They'd love this deal.
