West Coast v Essendon

Talk about everything Essendon. Past, Present and Future if it's about the Bombers this is the place to be.

West Coast v Essendon

Post by grassy1 » Tue Jun 18, 2019 10:25 pm

Well,a mate from Perth Football Club rang and gave me the good news.

He got me a Ticket.Bewdy!Lord knows where, but I’ll be there on a cool, but clear night. It’s gunna piss down on the weekend. So no Darts, which is funny as I played ok last week, without peggin’!

He’s an Eagle, which puts me at odds with him, which isn’t that often.Still, looking forward to seeing a few thousand Bomber Fans there and have an ale or 2 at half time, which is even funnier,as I usually start after a match.

What’s the go with Jake?Being rested as a precaution,or being cleared to play?Yeo’s 50/50 for them, with Hurn likely to return.

Better make this a Hit and Run mission if we can, unless the Eagles are a No Show(not likely)and we get the 4 points for a Home Team Forfeit!

The Eagles(and Dockers to a lesser extent)have really got the Shits about the Perth Stadium playing surface.

Cool and Clear,with light N/E Winds,Rock.

Perfect night, unless those plonkers at the Department Of Land Management(?),have another f****** “controlled”burn.

Have you ever seen Perth Stadium shrouded in Smoke?Adds new meaning to being as Thick as Pea Soup! :-&

Hope to have a good night tonight, preferably with Essendon Winning.

Gotta find time to pick up a collect on a couple of WD races from Cannington last night and hopefully the 3rd at Dapto tonight.

Could always do it tomorrow I suppose. But some Bar money might come in handy tonight. 8)

As for the weather, don’t panic if you’re in town folks. The cloud coming in from the West is high cloud and won’t be in coming with force, until early Saturday morning I reckon.

Any smog coming in from the East,Shit! :-&

Reasonable start so far, but let them in for some easy ones. How did Hurley not touch that one on the line?!

Will our f****** players stop kicking it backwards and then turning it over in the back 50 or at best turning it over exactly where we started from.

What is the f****** point when we cant clear it out of the back 50 on most days anyfuckingway????

McKenna might be the worst player in a contest in the league. Utter garbage.

The wheels absolutely fell off that quarter. Lucky not to be far further behind. Not even sure why exactly.

Frees 17 to 9 does seem a little out of proportion!
