What’s the latest?
Defence - 7th
Attack - 12th
Slipping away...
But the difference is narrowing! - glass half full :)
Shows how stats don't always mean a lot. Defence = worse, Attack = worse, but we're higher on the ladder!
so the good news is we will finish the season with a perfect 9th in attack, 9th in defence, 9th on the ladder and a percentage of exactly 100%.

Oh happy days...

Yep Essendon is the new Richmond. We have become the very thing we hate.

I have done the season ladder predictor and yes, with some luck and other results falling our way we can realistically make 8th. However I still don’t trust this team to stand up when it really matters. This week vs North will make or break our season. Remember we still have away games to Fremantle and Adelaide....hopefully their respective form lines will be as bad when those matches occur.

With Bellchambers missing, I actually believe he will be a bigger loss than any other player as our depth in this position is non existent.

And assuming we make the 8, in all likelihood it (at this stage) looks like an away trip to Adelaide or Sydney...or perhaps Richmond at the MCG. And we all know what our record in Elimination Finals has been in the last 10 years.

Almost every game is going to be make or break for us.
We play North, Crows, Port, Dogs, Freo - all who are competing for our place, or are playing good footy.
So as the cliché goes, our destiny is in our own hands. Win those, we'll make it. And then the last round V Collingwood, so we'll know for sure what shape we're in for September.

Essendon need to learn play and be without JoeDan. If he comes back at some point it will be terrific and it will be an added bonus.

We are still a couple of players short of where we want to be, definitely another ruckman or someone who can ruck, a couple of talls and a midfielder.
Although Snell, may well fill a vacant position if he is given half a chance.
