R21 Essendon v Western Bulldogs

Talk about everything Essendon. Past, Present and Future if it's about the Bombers this is the place to be.

Worst damn effort i have seen....probably from any club for quite some time. Lazy bloody Gits! Embarrsed to be in the Red and Black tonight.
Dear Daisy,

I have been in my comfy surrounds, keeping lovely and warm, drinking my favourite beverages, and laughing at the thought of you sitting there seething

That was a perfect example of a team that has given up. Finals are clearly not an incentive for our club. Some teams respond to injuries by collectively digging deep...maybe tweak the game plan a little. Our club responds with consecutive weeks or “couldn’t care less”. Utterly embarrassing

Humiliating... is an understatement

I expected the loss, I didn't expect the lackadaisical and bone-idle effort with at least 10 players being bluntly indolent and gormless.

That was as putrid a performance as I have seen. Are the players trying to get Worsfold sacked?

Can I ask when we’re the two assistants that are leaving been told they are leaving. Has this complete form slump coincided with that?

So once again it’s bye bye Bombers. Sad really.

These players don’t deserve to play for a big club with 85000 odd supporters. Okay at half time we were never going to win it but to not be able to string any semblance of good play together for just 5 minutes.

We left at the 20 mins into the 3rd Quarter.

Perhaps...PERHAPS....our senior players on the Big Bucks paid more attention on their performances instead of dying their hair blonde over losing bets...we would be half a chance. How old are they.FFS?

That effort was completely unacceptable. Full credit to the doggies who were clinical. If they do make the finals I’d expect them to go a lot further than we would and possibly make the big dance against the tigers.
We have to throw everything at Fremantle next week to resemble some sort of confidence and restore any pride in this club.

Saads run sorely missing tonight

Was I the only one secretly hoping we would be held to one goal? How f****** pathetic is that. Maybe it’s years of being completely betrayed by this club that some evil inner resentment came spilling out.

How sad is it when the opposition supporters are cheering your second goal louder than your own fans. They were completely mocking us as they should

Sadly yes I felt like anything more than 1 goal would not fairly assess our lack of intensity. We deserved a 120+ loss to kick them up the pants in the history books

Only our cheer squad and the parents/besties of the players were still there at that point.

Who would have thought that a team kicking only 1 goal for an entire game would not be the most embarrassing result of the day. North are laughing at us.At least they had the weather to deal with.

Not to mention North were 13th and playing the ladder leader.

Nope, I was laughing at the fact we only had one goal (after the first 20 seconds of the match lol), and it looked
as though that would be it.

I was laughing at the thought (seriously) if the club would actually assemble an “Every Essendon Goal” video after the match

And if they didn’t, I would write into them and bitterly complain!
