Drug Testing Results
This seems to have shut down the Mongs from other clubs whenever the drug scandal is thrown in my face.
Mong 1 - Your players are cheating bastards that deserve to be banned for 2 years
Mong 2 - Yeah, your players were taking 40 injections or more of banned substances
Mong 3 - Try as you might, AOD, Heraxalin, Thymosin 4 are BANNED and your players should be BANNED
Me - Ok, I agree, they should be suspended if they have taken any banned substance, no matter who told them to or whatever. But here's my question. Didnt the AFL uncover more than 40 cases of substance abuse amongst AFL players in 2012 via rendom drug testing procedures?
Mong 1 - Umm, yeah....I guess, why?
Me - Well I am assuming that if Essendon players were taking the quantities of banned substances that you are saying the took, wouldnt it stand to reason that they, or at least one of them would have been caught by the same random drug testing procedure? Surely, just one of them would have been sprung? Wouldnt Jobe Watson have been found to have used AOD9064 - after all, he said he took it?
Mong 2 - Umm, where is this heading
Me - Ok guys, let me help you here. The reason not a single Essendon player returned a positive drug test in 2012 was, now wait for it, was because they either didnt take the drugs OR, now hold on to your hat, the drugs they did take
WERE....NOT....LISTED....AS....BANNED....BY....THE ....AUTHORITIES
Unless of course you want to argue that the AFL deliberately excluded Essenond from their Random Drug Testing regime. And if you want to argue that, then you are most definitly the Mongs I thought you were
Mongs, 1, 2 &3 - " play sound of crickets chirping"
So despite 350,000,000 column centimetres of bulshite from the media, not a single report has addresses this issue - can someone please explain to me why not one Essendon player did not return a positive drug test in 2012 (unless they're amongst the group who were nabbed using recreational drugs

Re: Drug Testing Results
Yeah but 40 odd players did return a positve test in 2012 for recreational drugs!!!! So how on earth can a full senior squad of footballers at Essendon who are allegedly taking dozens of injections of banned substances over months of use not return a single positive test???BenDoolan wrote:Ben Cousins never tested positive to drugs.
I rest my case.
Can someone please explain this to me?

HGH is pretty much impossible to detect and I'm not a scientician (I could ask my brother I guess) but I believe peptides are very similar. They certainly have similar effects. And I think AOD is a peptide or similar.

That was my thinking as well but even so, surely one positive test would have resulted given the "pharmacoloigally experimental" nature of what has been alleged.

We are made of peptides and thier effects just accelerate / enhance normal functions. Recreational drugs alter our biochemistry making them a lot easier to spot.

So are you saying that of all the alleged substances being adminstered at EFC, they are all undectectable?Sismis wrote:We are made of peptides and thier effects just accelerate / enhance normal functions. Recreational drugs alter our biochemistry making them a lot easier to spot.

A simple google search will give you the answer...JockStraps wrote:So are you saying that of all the alleged substances being adminstered at EFC, they are all undectectable?Sismis wrote:We are made of peptides and thier effects just accelerate / enhance normal functions. Basically it is short lasting in the body, stimulates the body to produce more of its natural hormones and can't be picked up in urine. It seems the best way to detect peptide use is by banking blood samples and comparing.
Thus it hard to detect...I hope your mongs don't know how to use the interwebs.

I'm saying it is a lot easier to detect a substance that your body doesn't make than one it does.JockStraps wrote:So are you saying that of all the alleged substances being adminstered at EFC, they are all undectectable?Sismis wrote:We are made of peptides and thier effects just accelerate / enhance normal functions. But thanks for the tip, it certainly answers my question. A flawed defence but I am running with it

Franklins tested positive at least more than 3 times. Club has hidden it under the table for years. We all know what happened to old tuckey.JockStraps wrote:2 Carlton and 1 hawks supporter - that should give you the answerGnome Chomsky wrote:A simple google search will give you the answer...JockStraps wrote:So are you saying that of all the alleged substances being adminstered at EFC, they are all undectectable?Sismis wrote:We are made of peptides and thier effects just accelerate / enhance normal functions.
