Re: Jacob Townsend
Where’s ‘Big Kev’ when you need him? CayzL0CIZHY Not sure if you are just “excited” by the prospect of Towner in the lineup or lamenting the fact that our squad is now largely made up of the cheap stuff in the supermarket aisle. I'm guessing it's the latter - but at least he didnt put a clip of Dad...

Yeah and watch as we let them go to other clubs for a steal and in turn they crucify us in about 4-5 yearsWindy_Hill wrote: ↑Mon Dec 02, 2019 6:13 pm Thanks for the heads up. Good to see our academy starting to yield fruit.

Don’t believe everything you read.
Good luck to him. He might be a player that helps a bit, but at the end of the day he’s another clubs discard not an elite player seeking a change...

Re: Draft
Re Draper, 2020 is the last year of his rookie deal so he can stay on as rookie, but must be upgraded for 2020.
Given he’ll miss most of next cause of his ACL, it’s a good thing for him and club.

Re: Jacob Townsend
Strikes me as a Devon Smith type forward - tackles, nippy and likes a goal. Oh and has done both knees (ACL) as opposed to Smith's knee complaints (PCL). Also has a premiership medallion. Problem I have with the rumored pickups is that they don't seem to be addressing our "widely identified&qu...

Oh ye of little faith.
How can you not count his raging successes.
Recycled stars such as:
Cupido
Zantuck
Allen
Campo
Green
Or his wonderful draft stories:
Gumby
Myers
Harvey
Reimers
Hunter
His record speaks for itself

Re: Remember The Days When...
If ifs and buts were....
If we’d taken Cyril, would he have become the player he became at the hawks? Would a Minson have made a difference? Etc, etc, etc...
Maybe they would have, but then the systems and players around them would be different and results may have been vastly different...

Re: The Baby Powder Twins
Of course Barnard was right up there. Even the silky Mercuri would never take a backwards step. For the life of me I simply don’t get how a team coached by John Worsfold can be as terrifying as tissue paper. Single ply grainy home brand... Like our team, weak, useless, promises to do something but ...

Re: Those Shown the Door....
Not surprised.
Clarke here for one year to many.
Long for 2 years longer than he should have been.
Being in Sydney, didn't see much of Mynott or Jok, but though the club might have held onto Jok as a project player...maybe re-rookie him?

Re: Sheffield Shield, ODD’s & Big Bash 2019/20
The good thing about the start of this Shield season is that all the best players (barring injury) are out there so we get to see the best Aussies up against each other and building form leading into the internationals...

TW going early. Daniher to stay. edit: correct! Buggered up Carlscum getting Papley & maybe Martin too! Double bonus. =D> No - Carlton buggered up Martin all by themselves. It was joyous listening to SEN towards the end of the trading period as a couple of Carlton diehards phoned to accuse EFC ...

Re: Joe Daniher's Groin, Calf, Moustache, Little Pinky
What happens with Joe whether he stays or goes is only half of the question. Will the op fix the problem? Will Joe return to be the player he was? There are NO guarantees about anything concerning Joe. As for Joe falling back in love with the club, he has been wanting to leave is another big assump...
