Bellchambers.
Bellchambers.
Look, he looks like a young bloke who tries his heart out...but geez he can be a bit ordinary a lot of the time.
I think its one area of the 22(the ruck) at the moment that really needs work, paddy just can't do it all. I thought it was one area last night that we got beaten in.
Here is hoping that Laycock gets fitness and form up in the twos to apply some selection pressure.

Re: Bellchambers.
Yeah give him time... he has kinda been forced into the ruck straight away with the injuries to Hille and Laycock. Is obviously a project player and every senior game he gets under his belt will no doubt build his confidence.
Re: Bellchambers.
A very funny player to watch....his timing last night was appalling, but had some of us laughing in the crowd.
Re: Bellchambers.
He started in the ruck at the first bounce. I didn't like seeing that. I wondered how this contributed to their Q1?
He got a few good taps and was in the play, but has time on his side and has shown enough to be positive. His development will improve with his current exposure. He now has the taste and his goals will have been readjusted.

He has height, but not yet "the body" when up against experienced ruckmen.damo22 wrote:i noticed last night that for a big body he got pushed around to much.. but he'll get there eventually

Re: Bellchambers.
Think "Hille" in his early days. Ruckman usually take years to mature and the kid has been fortunate in that he has been thrown straight in. His previous games were probably a lot more productive, but at least he provides a competition at the bounces whereby if he breaks even, that is a win for us.
Too far for Baker now he's on to it, now he’s got it, OPEN GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Dons are in front by one point at the 8 minute mark

Also noticed Laycock in the best for Bendigo which is a good sign.

Re: Bellchambers.
Considering ruckmen take time to develop, I think Bellchambers will end up being very good.
