Knighta's on SEN now...
If anyone's interested...
Re: Knighta's on SEN now...
Discussion points:
1. Can preseason get shorter? MK says yes as players can train independently for fitness base. Clubs could sort practice games, less is better, maybe 1 serious interclub game, if a 24 game season.
2. Will it help with injuries? Last month becomes increasingly combative.
3. The bump. Clarity in rules is important so players have adequate guidelines.
4. Rotations: becoming more strategic. Heat around the ball more intense.
5. Essendon need bulk? Stu Cormack improving fitness, size and kilograms, looking for further improvement over next 2 years, and for better consistency during games.
6. Howlett elevated from rookie list. Strong chance rd 1.
7. Looking now at older, bigger rookies. With GC and GWS it'll be the way forward.
8. Gumby. full game v Richmond. Ended strong. Rd 1 in.
9. Neagle. Showing good signs. 9 weeks of progressive training.
10. Hurley. Looking a forward type player.
11. No L,L,L,McP. Looking for more goals from the little players. L&L difficult to replace.
12. Williams deliberately recruited as a ins 50 forward crumber in light of L&L leaving.
13. Quinn. General development. Understands the game more, runs as hard as anyone. For Bendigo initially this year.

gotta love Matty Knights! this all sounds fantastic and all parts of the game, not like sheedy's usual BS haha, na seriously very impressed with the way Knights looks over Essendon and the game itself, i think we are in very good hands!
