Apologies to Michael Quinn. If he was playing for Bendigo today, he would have been BOG.

Didnt see any of the game - only the stats.
Looks like Leory had a good game. Is he a keeper? Can he become a long term quality player?

I certainly think so... he has taken quite a while to display some consistent footy but i really do think that a midfield/wing role is more suited to him rather than being stuck as a forward pocket player.Windy_Hill wrote:Didnt see any of the game - only the stats.

His tackling and chasing has been a feature for Bendigo this year and he certainly showed that in the seniors today.

Re: Votes vs Brissy
Although Jetta ended up with lots of possies, most seemed to me to be after the sting had gone out of the game.
Hille tried hard. Carlisle showed some promise but is still very raw/skinny/pale looking. Howlett & Melksham tried.
Not much else worth mentioning. Not even going to bother to give votes (haven't for the last 3 weeks, sorry).

From the Q4 only.
3. Jetta
2. Myers
1. Carlisle
Hurley had a crack, but was beaten by a lack of support and more midfield defense.

Re: Votes vs Brissy
Jetta? Good god. He had 20 possessions, most when the game was dead and buried, and most of them were shit. For example - kicking long and high to Monfries when he's playing on Merrett. =D>
You couldn't fool your own mother on the foolingest day of your life with an electrified fooling machine.

Sorry, too much full-strength beer (day games are clearly the best when we're so shit ) and talking shit with my uncle to know who were our best.

Obviously it was only my uncle and me, but we thought Hille was shit. There was one where he dropped an absolute sitter of an uncontested mark and some of his "efforts" at the ruck contests were shithouse.billyduckworth wrote:Hille tried hard.
