Ratugolea has also requested a trade to Port. Geelong is keen for this to occur as Tom Stewart requested it happen.

I cannot see how port fits Ratugolea, Aliir Aliir and BZT into the same team along with Clurey, Jonas and Burton.

Weird.

It only makes their defence even stronger. May as well hand them the flag for 2024.

Shame but obviously wants to go Home.
Definitely Not a Ridley and might struggle to get a game at Port.
Not a Massive loss imo.
A chance for another who is Dedicated.

There’s talk of getting Riley Bonner and a 3rd Rounder in return

As it stands, he’s a big loss. Reid is a hospital case, and Ridley is basically on his pat malone down there.

He was smashed Defensively many times.
Heaps of Options....
Like I said Will struggle at Port.
I would play Weiderman Hayes or Baldwin...
Baldwin another pre season Under his Belt...

Crikey. He was beaten badly a couple of times. But most of the time he was solid.

Weid, Hayes, Baldy… hmm… not going to stop Hawkins (which is who BZT struggled against).

If we don’t get McKay, we’re rooted.

Riley Bonner?

Exchanging a crap backman for our backman?

Bonner though has 2 Brownlow votes in his career.

And f*** the 3rd round pick in what seems to be a shallow draft. BZT is firmly in our best 22, and he is not a free agent ... so we would need to be compensated accordingly.

Also, I am so tired of Port screwing us over in trading.

Port has picks 37 and 43 (and may have to use them... not sure). Geelong would demand one or both of these.

We would be better off taking Bonner and their next year's 2nd round and giving them our next year 3rd round picks.

Snelling and Voss still haven’t been offered contracts. This will probably wait out until after the trade period…

I doubt that clubs will be bashing doors down for either of these two.

I was surprised last year when we kept Snelling and cut Cutler loose. Nothing I have seen this year changes my mind on that.

Surprised that the second top goalscorer in our team was only offered a 1 year deal. He deserves two. Not sure why the club would frap around like this.

I doubt he would be asking top dollar.

All this does is make him available for the Tassie team at the end of next year.

The important news is My Man Menzie is staying.

Very happy about Kaine Baldwin is getting another year.

Now bloody well play him.

The guy can kick the footy. Something we sorely need.
